Fotos en Conserva

Fotos en Conserva is a workshop organized by a group of Fotoconnexió partners, which aims to offer the first guidelines for the identification, conservation and archival treatment of photographs that are kept in family archives.

The aim is to promote the involvement of workshop participants in the conservation of their photographs, while learning basic notions of some of the most common photographic procedures, as well as some of the most significant formats and cameras.

The “Conservas” consist of four parts and are presented in four sessions of two hours each, in which basic and theoretical guidelines will be given combined with the presentation of practical examples. The workshop is designed for those people who keep photographs in their home environment or who are interested in photography.
