Noelia Pérez
She was born in Granollers and has lived in Barcelona for ten years. She studied the first cycle of Journalism at the Autonomous University of Barcelona and graduated in History from the same university. She develops the doctoral program in Contemporary History at the University of Barcelona. She studied photography and visual arts at the Escola Massana in Barcelona and the IEFC, and obtained a Master’s degree in Visual Journalism at the Blankpaper School in Madrid. She works in the team of Dra. Cristina Borderías as part of the consolidated research group of the Generalitat de Catalunya Work, Institutions and Gender within the Spanish Association for the Research of Women’s History. In Reuters & DowJones, she specializes in online news publishing for Europe and has been a freelance photographer, researcher and documentary filmmaker since 2007. Her professional activities focus on documentary photography, the management and organization of photographic archives, teaching, visual research and the production of her personal work. She has exhibited and published several books as well as curated and participated in various individual and group exhibitions.
