Elisabet Insenser holds a PhD in Fine Arts from the UB. Her professional activity is developed in the teaching of visual arts and photographic practice. Fruit of her investigation in the field of the History of the photography she published The Photography in Spain in the period between wars 1914-1939. Notes and documents for a history of photography in Spain. She currently teaches at the Escola Massana in Barcelona.

The images she presents for this exhibition accompany the sketches of poems by Mercè Rodoreda. Annotations and scribbles, drawings and corrections in the margin delve in a unique way into the creative process, while inviting us to look closely at some literary and photographic features that the eye does not usually pay attention to.
