Christina Guldager

Christina Guldager-Christiansen, Danish but born in Palma de Mallorca in 1980. In 2000, she began her training as a photographer, at the Vraa Hojskole, with the teacher Emil Schildt, with whom she began to work on the body and the nude. She graduated, in 2004, in Photography and Digital Creation from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia

For almost two decades she has explored photography around the body, the nude and sex, such as the project “That space called intimacy”, which he has presented in Oaxaca, Mexico (2012) and in the Catalan capital (2014).

On this occasion, the work that she presents is the most intimate and biographical so far, “Asdescendencia” is a series of 10 nude self-portraits where she projects images of her childhood on the same body. On the one hand it is a tribute to her parents who she lost at a very young age and on the other hand it is a reflection on the genetic and emotional load that we receive from our parents.
