The latest advances in computing have allowed a technique, which until recently was available only to specialists, is now available to everyone. Let’s talk about photogrammetry, a method that by taking photographs around an object, allows us to generate a 3D model that can be viewed and even shared on the Internet. In this presentation we will see how it is used in the professional environment of cultural heritage, but also how anyone can enter it with a simple smartphone, for free.
